A medical practice available to terminally ill adults with decision-making capacity who wish to control their already-anticipated death by self-ingesting medications to end their life on their own terms
The Law
Allows an eligible terminally ill individual with a prognosis of ≤6mo to request and self-administer medications to voluntarily end their life

Authorizes a provider to prescribe lethal medications to a terminally ill individual who has been evaluated and deemed eligible for MAID
